Brett Vogelsinger

Brett is in his fourteenth year of teaching at Holicong Middle School this year, ten years in eighth grade and now his fourth teaching freshmen. He loves developing new ideas to engage students and working to develop their joy in reading and confidence in writing. He employs the class motto "Read voraciously. Write tenaciously." Each day, his students read a Poem of the Day, and each week they analyze an Article of the Week. He has published teaching ideas on Edutopia, New York Times Learning Network, Teach Thought, ASCD, and Nerdy Book Club.
