Allen Macfarlane

I have an undergraduate degree in geological engineering, a masters in geology, and a Ph.D. in environmental health science. For most of my career I was a research scientist working for a state agency. I have always had an interest in science education. Before retiring from this career, I started an environmental science academy for urban 7th graders that met monthly on a weekend. Following retirement, I took a teaching job at my independent school, where I teach grades 6-8 in Science.
