Jill Hobson

Jill Hobson is the Director of Instructional Technology for Forsyth County Schools. Her duties include managing the very successful implementation of the online learning management system and web content management system. She works closely with the Academics and Accountability division to promote the instructional technology uses that accelerate student learning through higher order thinking. Working with Media Specialists and Instructional Technology Specialists, Jill facilitates the development and implementation of professional learning related to instructional technology.

Jill serves as the president and founding member of the Georgia Society for Instructional Technology (G-STE). Recently Jill was named one of the National School Board Association's "Twenty to Watch", a list of 20 emerging leaders in technology.

She has presented at a number of state and national conferences. Jill earned her Bachelors Degree in English Education from the University of Georgia and Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Georgia State University.
