Currently the arts coordinator for a K-12 after school program at a nonprofit organization which primarily serves refugee and immigrant youth and families. Interested in the arts as a tool for positive youth development and health, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.

Education: BA Studio Art & Education from American University. K-12 visual art teacher certification. MA in Arts Education Leadership from Lesley University. Dancer and certified yoga teacher.

Interested in further study of education leadership, including education policy, management, and organization. Primary interest in using the arts during out-of-school hours to support youth health and development, and to close the education gap influenced which is heavily divided by race and socioeconomic status.
