Brian Boydstun is an innovative teacher of biology at Summit High School, which is part of the Mansfield Independent School District in Mansfield, Texas. He received his Masters in Education from the University of Arkansas and has been teaching in Texas for the past twelve years. Brian is known for his passion for technology in the classroom and how it can transform the way we teach. He has presented sessions about integrating technology in the classroom to colleagues throughout his district and visiting dignitaries from around the state. Brian is a sought-after speaker who is constantly exploring ways to move from a traditional direct teaching method into one that blends teaching, collaboration, and assessment through the use of creative screencast. Brian currently maintains both a YouTube channel and a public iTunes U course called Boydstun Biology which has an enrollment of nearly a thousand students worldwide, in addition to a second public iTunes U course called, "iCan: Integrating the iPad and iTunes U in the Classroom" which he co-created with his wife, Chrissy Boydstun. In this course, both Brian and his wife share their knowledge of technology in the classroom with more than 1400 subscribers from all around the world.
