Dr. Denise Pope is a co-founder of Challenge Success, an organization formed in 2007 that grew out of the highly successful Stressed-Out Students Project she started at Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. Responding to an increase in academic and emotional problems among kids in the United States, Challenge Success provides schools, parents and families with the practical, research-based tools they need to raise healthy, motivated kids.
The organization has worked with over 100 schools to identify problems and implement education policies and professional development on topics concerning curriculum, assessment, engagement, and a healthy school climate. Challenge Success provides the support parents need to help their children regain their balance, strengthen their sense of self, increase their motivation and critical thinking skills, and learn how to deal effectively with the inevitable challenges of life.
