Trent Citrano

Originally from the United States, Trent Citrano serves as the Principal for both the Middle and High Schools at Saint Maur International School in Yokohama, Japan. He has a M.Ed. in Educational Administration as well as B.A.s in Bilingual-Multicultural Liberal Studies and Latin American Studies - not to mention minors in Spanish and English. Prior to joining the Saint Maur family, Trent served as: K-12 Principal in Ningbo, China; Elementary Principal and Vice Principal in Kent, Washington; ESL Coordinator in Renton, Washington; and taught K-12 ESL as well as a variety of Elementary grades - including bilingual, multi-age classes in both Washington and California.

Trent is passionate about connecting students, staff, parents and community in order to create the best possible learning environment for our students. He hopes that - by coupling a wide-variety of extra-curricular activities, caring support systems, and engaging best practices - Saint Maur students will excel and develop into balanced, lifelong learners.

Trent is happily married to his wife, Reiko. He is a huge baseball fan and avid foodie who loves cooking & learning about different cuisines.
