After 20 years of classroom teaching, I presented professional development workshops on the implications of brain research for educational practice. This led me to realize how differences in teacher thinking were ignored in educational planning. I published Teaching in Mind: How Teacher Thinking Shapes Education (http://www.teachersmind.com) to address this issue. The book is now in its 2nd edition. I also do freelance educational writing in science, social studies, language arts, and math.
