Currently Director of Academic Research at Link-Systems International, Inc., the company which developed the NetTutor online tutoring system and the WorldWideWhiteboard online collaboration tool, I am an educator with fifteen years of experience in both secondary and post-secondary education. Formerly Director of Online Tutoring at LSI, I have done many hours of both face-to-face and online tutoring, I have supervised, led, and trained online tutors, and I have written content for online courses. As an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, I have frequent opportunity to test out distance learning tools and theories in practice. My writing is published in peer-reviewed journals in math, computer science, and education.
