I started my career as a social work intern in community centers and at the Marcy New York Psychiatric Center on the locked adolescent unit. I became a school psychologist and eventually was the Associate for School Psychology at the New York State Education Department.
Throughout my career I have been employed as an education leader at the state level, in private education, at the building level, and at the district level. I have also been an adjunct at several colleges primarily in education departments. I am approaching retirement after over 40 years working with young people from birth to early adulthood. Opening this new chapter in my life is both exciting and a bit intimidating. Not ready yet to "hang it up" I am looking for new part time challenges.
