I am a full-time practitioner and part time researcher. I completed my Ed.D dissertation studying the observation and evaluation criteria and practices in cyberschools (6th-12th grade). I teach graduate courses at Drew University and Monmouth University and work as the Director of Technology in a medium sized school district in New Jersey.
Public schools seem to have lost focus and are not adapting well to innovations in technologies in the early 21st century. Our role is to change that. I am working to improve teaching and learning using tools available via technologies. This is not easy considering the current political climate; however, we must embrace the struggle and prepare our students for whatever awaits them in the next few decades.
