WHAT WORKS IN EDUCATION The George Lucas Educational Foundation

Stanley D. Johnson

I have experience with current and emerging Web 2.0 technology tools and resources, and their use in the classroom and professional development. Currently I work with the DC Public Charter School community supporting E-Rate program participation, technology planning and data program analytics.

I served as the State Educational Technology Director, acquiring extensive knowledge of No Child Left Behind statutes and served as LEA grant manager for Title II Part D and Title V. In that capacity I developed state and local educational technology standards for all hardware, software, and professional development programs for learners, teachers, and administrators.

I also served as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative for several state and local educational technology contracts, inclusive of the District's data and curriculum management project. I'm skilled in mapping educational technology tools and resources to identified educational requirements and building comprehensive educational technology solutions to meet the needs of students, teachers, administrators and external stakeholders. I have a firm understanding of design specifications for data and curriculum management systems.
