Robert Siegel

Graduate of University of California and M.Ed. from the University of Oregon. Worked in Chile, South America for 25 years. I am fluent in Spanish and English. Currently residing in Oregon, USA and last jobs for public schools were as Director of School Improvement and Assistant Superintendent. Currently semi-retired offering assistance to school districts and charter schools in Oregon on Using Assessment to Improve Instruction and Learning, which is also one of the courses I teach at Oregon State University. Member of ASCD for over 25 years and presented at their First International Conference in Sydney, Australia on the topic of "Education for Transition Towards a Global Society: a K-8 Social Science Curriculum". Favorite areas of interest include education for global citizenry and the oneness of the human family. I have also been a curriculum writer for the UN Publications Department and the Tobacco Prevention Curriculum for the Oregon Department of Health and Human Services.
