Kat Griffith

I'm a former writer, ag economist, sustainable ag activist and home schooler who wound up -- against all odds -- teaching Spanish to Mexican kids in a small town in rural Wisconsin! I teach in both a regular and a charter high school, half Spanish and half interdisciplinary stuff in the charter school. I've lived many years in Central and South America, and most of the past 24 years in Wisconsin.

Areas of Interest:
Immigration policy,
getting kids to read for pleasure,
teaching for social justice,
Heritage language instruction,
interdisciplinary co-teaching,
rigorous PBL
