Hello, all!
I'm a student teacher at Smith College in Northampton, MA. For one of my courses, my final project was to be a child advocate in any way. I decided to write a blog post about bilingual education and how Massachusetts should reinstate it instead of using an English-only approach.
Please check out my post--I'd love to hear your feedback!

Well-researched and well-argued.

ELL education in MA is a hot mess because of that ballot initiative. The Justice Department sues MA for not meeting students' needs, and now teachers have to go through an intensive grad class called RETELL to make up for the fact that the state has done such a terrible job supporting our students.
