This is an interesting schools competition using technology. Children's Charity Action for Children has launched the Big Eggsibition 2013, the biggest school’s egg decorating competition ever! It is free to enter and open to all schools to participate. With free on-line digital and video resources for children and teachers alike, pupils are taught how to create hard boiled and papier -mache eggs which they can decorate in class. Schools then hold a fundraising Eggsibition inviting parents, carers and friends to view and buy the eggs. All decorated eggs will need to be uploaded and entered into a national competition at http://www.the-big-eggsibition.com before March 26th 2013 when a select panel of judges, including senior Moshi Monster’s illustrator Ross McCaughey , will choose winners from each age group. Art materials form the basis for prizes for participating schools.
