I am taking a new position next year where I will be teaching high school EBD. I'm nervous, but pretty excited. I currently have some EBD students on my caseload, but this time I will be in charge of a whole new program; one that I can create and make however I want, which is really nice.
I'm wondering.. Does anyone have any ideas about social skills curriculum? I have done some research, but I don't think I've found the greatest one for high school students. My students will all have behavioral goals mostly addressing impulse control, responsibility, and blurt outs (among other things).
Also, is anyone in a school district with a good program for EBD students? If so, what does it look like? How is it run? Any advice would be extremely helpful!
Thanks in advance!
