Hello fellow educators! I hope your school years are off to a good start. In my past posts I try to share cool examples of digital storytelling projects that use a kit I developed to help teach moviemaking and animation.

Its funny, as I send these kits out to classrooms across the country and I always wonder how students and teachers put them to use.

Well this morning I received an email from a teacher with a link to a blog she uses to document her projects in the class and I got a chance to see! To my surprise and delight I saw the Tabletop Moviemaking Studio being used in new and interesting ways.

I loved the fact that so much of the characters and backgrounds were customized and created from scratch. I love to see adaptations like that. It also looks like her characters had articulated limbs to create some added movement. That was really cool to see.

Anyway, it made my day to see photos of her students in various stages of the production process with sample videos of what the students made so I wanted to share it with you.
