  • Share online colleague of mine, the glorious Cossondra George, posted this question at The Teacher Leaders Network and I am fascinated to see if perhaps there are commonalities amongst middle school teacher answers. The question is this: If you were given, no strings attached, $100,000 to use in your classroom, how would you use it? You can't give any to another teacher. It can't go to the school at large. It can only be used by you for your classroom. How would you spend it? Can't wait to hear what you all have to say! -Heather WG

finish my room transformation with the following:

- I would finally finish making my classroom more like the offices of I want my classroom to be the epitome of a creative environment. Egg chairs, bean bags, game chairs, kneelers, lap desks, etc. I'm doing it piece by piece, but the $10^6 would get me there much faster.

- With the remaining money, I would replace as many of my Dell laptops with Macs. It's not that I have anything against Dell...oh, wait, yes it is. :)
