I'm the new director of video programming here at Edutopia, and I'm looking to get connected to a school in San Francisco or Marin where I could do a short photo shoot next week.
The photos will be used for the new video opening that appears before every Edutopia video on our site and elsewhere on the web.
I'm looking to shoot inside an empty classroom that blends a traditional classroom feel (chalkboard, teacher's desk, etc.) with a 21st Century style learning environment (collaborative seating, digital whiteboard technology, laptops or other computers in the classroom). The grade level does not matter.
In addition to the empty classroom, which I'll need for about an hour, I would like to shoot with a group of 3 or 4 students for about 45 minutes and two or three teachers for about 15 minutes.
We'll need releases signed by the students' parents ahead of time, and a release signed by the teachers. Each of the participants will be recognizable for a brief second in this finished piece.
If you have a connection to a school that you think would work for this project, please let me know.
Thanks for your help, and all of your great work!
