For almost 4 years I was the facilitator of our New Teacher Community here at Edutopia.org and really enjoyed that work. As the site evolved, that work ended, but it's great to see that we have a place to connect new and pre-service T's and those that care about them.
Over that time period I have been able to join the blogging team at Edutopia and look forward to producing new posts soon! I also founded a New Teacher Chat on Twitter which occurs every Wednesday at 5PT/8ET as a way to support those new to the professsion. Today is our 5th Year Birthday for the chat and I want to invite you all to attend!
I'm also hosting a giveaway on Lisadabbs.com as a way to give back to those that join me and I'd love you to enter. (You can read about it here too---see below.)
