Mission and Vision

Mark DiBella, director of YES Prep North Central, says people come to work "to be part of a mission that's greater than yourself." That mission -- to help low-income, minority kids transform their families' futures by going to college -- galvanizes students and parents as well. They're willing to sacrifice. And they're poised to realize their goal through a keen focus on hard work, great teaching, and mutual support. Their success rests on working together with that singular sense of purpose.

Quote Quote The mission is crystal clear. I feel like everyone knows exactly what we're doing every day, and that's what we do.
