I have worked in Canadian public education for over 34 years as a teacher, vice principal, principal, Director of HR and Director General. My team and I led Canada's first 1:1 wireless laptop initiative for all students and teachers in the entire district, grades 3-11, in 2003!! Results have been remarkable and initiative continues to this day. Since 2010, now the CEO for the Canadian Education Association, a not-for-profit association, founded in 1891. Amongst our many honorary lifetime members is John Dewey.
Our primary mandate is to encourage Canadian public education to innovate and transform the current educational system.
