Sarah Vaala, PhD is a Research Fellow at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop. She recently completed her dissertation which examined mothers’ perceptions and structural life circumstances as predictors for their infants’ and toddlers’ television and video viewing. Sarah is also currently an instructor at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
