John W. Jacobs

I am a Psychologist and former faculty member at the University of Central Florida's Institute for Simulation and Training. I have been an educational and organizational consultant for over 16 years and have worked with schools, districts, colleges/universities and large organizations in both the government and the private sector. I currently work as a Principal Cognitive Scientist for a fairly large government contractor, that among other things, specializes in educating military staff officers to better employ modeling and simulation resources. I also am the CEO of a small consulting company called Applied Simulation Corporation. My interests include simulation-based assessment and training, teacher professional development, school and district administrator professional development, and educational transformation.
