I love getting kids excited about science with inquiry and issues-based projects, enjoy developing curriculum, giving new stuff a try and connecting with other educators to share what's working and how to fix what's not.

I've been teaching for 26 years and am now in a suburban school in the San Francisco Bay Area, teaching middle school. I have a little side business as a photographer and run a climate change group at Orinda Community Church. 2 cats, 2 dogs, husband and a 16 year old son.
