I've been teaching health education in San Francisco for 11 years, and I'm currently the lead health teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. I regularly write about health and health-related topics on my Mr. Health Teacher blog.
In addition to teaching, I've written about health, sexuality, relationships, food, travel, technology, and music for numerous publications including The San Francisco Bay Guardian, CitySearch, SonicNet, The West Australian, Daddy Dialectic, Oxygen.com, and Food & Wine. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a sexuality educator on San Francisco Sex Information switchboard for more than 5 years, and I've done significant volunteer work focusing on rape and HIV/AIDS prevention.
