I'm a retired professor of education and now a full-time consultant to schools. I present workshops on Maximizing Student Learning and Motivation as well as Teaching IS a Performing Art. I also present motivational keynote addresses focused on the specific needs of a particular educational audience and tailored to the facts and history of the group.
I have conducted workshops and seminars for school systems, individual schools, governmental agencies such as the Departments of the Interior, Defense, Agriculture and Treasury as well as state governmental units and national, regional and local professional organizations.
I am co-author of two books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series as well as a textbook on early adolescence; three books on kindness; Motivating Your Students: Before You Can Teach Them, You Have to Reach Them and Motivating Your Audience: Speaking From the Heart, published by Allyn and Bacon.
