I am an educator here in Davao City, Philippines. I started my teaching career in my early twenties, which made me realize that I was into a job that called for so much patience, dedication and selflessness. Now, after more than two decades of being a teacher, first in secondary and then tertiary schools, I have learned that I love everything about this noble job. The happiness I feel when my learners succeed in every lesson and level of their education is unexplainable. The gestures of gratitude that they show me is more than money can buy.
