As a Teach For America corps member, I spent two years teaching in urban Chicago. In addition to gaining insight into the infrastructure and management of the public school system, I got an inside look at other federal and state programs for early childhood education including HeadStart, Preschool For All, and childcare initiatives run by the state Department of Human Services.
I went to Stanford, where I focused my academic work on the politics and ethics of public services for youth in the American Studies department. Following a passion for education and youth advocacy, I received her Master of Science in Education from Dominican University. I currently work at the most amazing place on earth, LearnBoost, a fast growing, venture capital backed education software company with a social mission to bring positive reform to schools.
