About 11 years ago, after being a teaching assistant for about 10 years, I decided to complete my degree. I attended night school and graduated with a degree in Spanish. I then continued my studies in ESL. I have always loved languages and love being able to share my language experiences. I taught ESL in two different districts this year. Along with being different districts, the experiences were also vastly different, as in one I worked with a group of Seniors and in the other I worked with K-5. I would go from Shakespeare or Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" to basic ABC's (I had a couple of students who had no English at all.) I also teach a grammar course to adults at the local community college twice a week.
