I am a middle school social studies and language arts teacher in Mansfield, OH. I am in my 6th year of teaching. I received my bachelor's degree from Ashland University in the area of Middle School Education with concentrations in Social Studies and Language Arts & Reading. Technology has always been a passion of mine. I am always looking to see what the next big thing is going to be. I have presented at the Ohio Middle Level Association Conference on Technology in the Classroom and I am set to present at the National Conference on the topic of Technology in the Classroom. In an effort to encourage and help teachers to be more creative and integrate more technology into their lessons, I developed a website (www.ideasforteachers.org) that sparks ideas and shows off how teachers are achieving success with their students.

Something about movie magic intrigues me. It was fascinating, for instance, to find out that actors in my favorite movies often filmed entire scenes without ever leaving the studio. And when I watch the special effects in a movie, I wish I could use that technology.
