I am an 8th year teacher and I started out teaching elementary science and 5th grade and found myself (by choice) at the high school level teaching Earth Science (my passion). I also am an adjunct lecturer at California Lutheran University where I teach two education courses and once in a while environmental science. I love teaching and would not want to have any other job albeit the current climate in education is weighing on my shoulders. I love to help newbie teachers and find I learn as much from them as they do from me.
I have seven children and almost five grandchildren. My youngest child will graduate this June and go off to college and even though we have two adult children still at home I'm hoping for some more time in my day. I am interested in all aspects of education and am willing to try most things at least once. If I could, I'd be a professional student.
