William Peet
developer of talking word processors for novice writers
I am a language arts curriculum developer who morphed into a software developer in the 80s. Started the microcomputer specialization courses for U. of Hawaii Special Education in 1983. Authored Dr. Peet's TalkWriter on the Apple II for Hartley Courseware in 1987, TalkWriter Windows in 2000 (Codie Award nomination), and Dr. Peet's Writing Buddy soon to be released on smartphones, pads and pods. Have consulted in school districts across the country since 1988.
