I hurt my back and lost some vision, so could no longer teach at school. Missing it desperately, I created my own online reading program. I work 1-on-1 with struggling readers using Skype, and get them back to reading with their peers as soon as we possibly can. I love it, and I don't mind being away from school anymore. The parents, child and I determine our goals, and I answer to nobody but us. Ahhhh! ;)
