I am a child advocate. I am very involved in PTA as a board member at the elementary school and middle school my kids attend as well as Legislative Chair for my ISD's Council of PTAs. I am on both school SBIC committees, key communicator, and an advocate for special needs kids esp. dyslexic kids, as I have two in that category. I believe it takes a village and parents and teachers and school administrators have to be partners in educating our children.
