From the Science Leadership Academy website: Melanie is our Spanish 1 and 4 teacher. She has organized and led many international trips for her students to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, the US-Mexico border and Guatemala. In her free time Melanie wanders aimlessly in the city on her bike, dances salsa and hiphop, dabbles in art and guitar, and travels to countries with US State Department issued travel advisories. Melanie is a National Board Certified Teacher.
