As a veteran teacher in a high-needs district I am always looking for new ways to manage and motivate my students. My students need real world connections to our curriculum as well as extra support in language acquisition, which is why I have always taught after-school enrichment programs, directed the Creative Writing & Poetry club and I continue to expand my use of technology to engage and encourage my students to learn and grow.
