I have been teaching for 24 years. After my nineteenth year, I fell out of love and was ready to find a new career. Instead, I made a change to middle school. It was a perfect match for me.
I believe teaching is all about building a safe community first. Then I feel that it is our job to make certain the students are learning. If not, I have to look at what I can change.
