Former professional physicist, now teaching 7th grade science in Texas
I have a degrees in physics and astronomy from the University of Texas at Arlington and I worked briefly at NASA's JPL before I decided that teaching was where my real passion was. I never thought that I'd be teaching middle school however, but I really do love it. The kids are just beginning to think about abstract concepts and are dying to learn. I am interested in innovation in the science classroom through introducing students to real problems, real inquiry, and real science at an early age, as well as integrating technology into learning in meaningful ways.
