SUSAN HOOVER
High School science teacher (Biology, Geoscience, General Science) in Las V
I have been teaching since 1998 and I have been drawn to working with at-risk students. Before getting my Masters in Education I was a pastry chef in 4-star hotels. I had planned to become a computer programmer, but I all-but flunked out of college. I figured I was too stupid for college so I went to vocational school. About 6 years later I learned that I had a number learning disabilities. I realize that I *wasn't* stupid, and that if I wanted college it meant I had to work harder.
