I've been a teacher for six years after having a nineteen-year career as a community organizer. I have a fairly popular resource-sharing blog for teachers Larry Ferlazzo's Websites of The Day, and have just had my first book published, "Building Parent Engagement In Schools." Two additional books, "Teaching English Language Learners: Strategies That Work" and another untitled one largely about classroom management issues will be published next year.
