I am the author of a 2008 book - Anticipate the School You Want: Futurizing K-12 Education, and a forthcoming 2010 book, Create the School You Want: Learning @ Tomorrow's Edge. I believe K-12 schooling would help youngsters more if it included more futuristics - methods, theories, and alternative forecasts. Youngsters crave tools with which to see farther, and with which to help make informed choices. Educational Futuristics is an overdue aid to ever finer schooling.
