New Morning School, a non-for-profit pre K - 8 school, is celebrating it's 40th anniversary year. As founding Head, I have developed a curriculum and pedagogy that is individualized, project-based and helps students practice daily the skills of decision-making, planning, creativity and initiative. The skills that are developed in our students are those skills outlined by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. Further, our program is based on the latest brain science that instructs us about how children learn best.
