Ivon Prefontaine

This is my second career, as I spent 15 years in the banking industry. Teaching and learning are what I have always wanted to do and I think I have a passion for this. I am currently completing my Ph. D. in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga in Spokane WA. I am married and we have three grown sons. I am involved in a very unique school setting with three multi-age classrooms. This year I am teaching and learning with a group of Grade 5, 7, 8, and 9 students, their parents, and a wonderful paraprofessional. As well, there are two colleagues involved along with two other paraprofessionals. I like to think of this as the ultimate learning community.
