I came to teaching after having several other careers including newspaper reporter, radio news director and talk show host, advertising copywriter, restaurant manager, voice-over artist, restaurant critic and newspaper food writer and adjunct professor. Now I am the school librarian. I dropped out of HS twice, college once because they interfered with my learning. I'm told I have a good sense of humor.
