Description:
This lesson plan utilizes the “writing-to-learn” instructional strategy in which students explore and acquire deep understanding of informational texts through creative writing and reflection. Students will participate in a collaborative group effort to research the environment’s impact on human health. Then they will write new lyrics to one of their favorite songs to create a new song designed to persuade listeners to help solve the problem.
