Thanks to Edutopia's Supporters
As an operating foundation, we are deeply grateful for the generous commitment of a growing number of Edutopia members, as well as foundations and advertisers, which has enabled our efforts to showcase groundbreaking work in education and be a source for inspiration and information about what works in K-12 public education.
Though we receive substantial annual support from the Lucasfilm Foundation to support our core activities, we also rely on others to fuel our work. In this post, we want to take a moment to recognize and publicly thank foundations and advertisers that have recently provided resources for Edutopia to share what is possible so that success stories can be replicated.
Current and recent foundation supporters include the Stuart Foundation and the Heinz Endowments (for dissemination of Edutopia memberships in California and Pennsylvania respectively), the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation (for support of in-depth profiles of some of the most innovative schools), and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation (for multimedia profiles of digital youth).
Recent advertisers in the June/July and August/September issues of Edutopia magazine and on Edutopia.org include 3LCD, the ASCD, Aver Media, Avid, Borders, the Cato Institute, CTB/McGraw Hill, Cuso-VSO, Dell, Dutch Mill Bulbs, Ellison, Epson, EZ School Supplies, Foundations Inc., Full Sail, Horace Mann, Key Curriculum Press, Lego, Lumens, MemoryLifter, Microsoft, the National FFA Organization, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Northwestern University, Odysseyware, Omicron Electronics, the Oracle Foundation, Pasco, PBS, Pearson, Pinnacle by Global Scholar, Polyvision, Promethean, Qwizdom, Smart Technologies, Solution Tree, St. Joseph's University, Student Insurance Partners, Subaru, and Troxell.
A big thanks to all of these supporters!

Edutopia
Edutopia is in the forefront of educational reform. Fueled by technology, educators are no longer able just to reteacher using the same paradigms that their teachers used; lecture, memorization, drill and practice and T-F assessments. This is an exciting time and I encourage everyone to support this revolution in any way possible.
