Tip #31: Sing Praises to the Principal

We all appreciate positive acknowledgment. If a teacher you know is doing exceptional work, thank them by making sure their hard work is acknowledged by the school as well -- send a letter, write an email, or make a call to the school principal. Too often, principals and administrators are only contacted when things aren’t going well. Contact your school principal with good news -- it will be a pleasant surprise for both teacher and principal, and a great opportunity to help foster a positive teacher-principal relationship.

"Every Day in May"

Every day in May we'll be offering up a new way to appreciate teachers.
