Sending student home constantly.
Without knowing all the circumstances such as what exactly your son was doing it's hard to comment. Was your son hitting others, being unsafe to himself or others? Was it something such as being disruptive in class which is a whole different picture. I do know educating a child is a partnership between parents and the teachers and it's important to work together for the benefit of the child.
Teachers and parents really do have the same goals which is helping children reach their full potential. I know I need to work very hard to partner with parents, and be very careful how I say things in emails or in person because comments can easily come across the wrong way. I am betting the teachers are just as frustrated as you and would love to hear how you handle things at home. You surely know some strategies and tactics that could help.
Good luck, I hope things get better.
Ma'am, your job is to parent. A teachers job is to educate; not parent your child. If your child misbehaves at school he should be sent home. Stop placing the blame on teachers for your inadequacies as a parent.
